Garden Consultation

A garden consultation is a relaxed, focused way to explore the potential of your garden with professional guidance. It’s ideal if you don’t need a full garden design, but would value an experienced eye to help you shape ideas, solve challenges and decide on next steps.

The consultation is designed to help you see your garden differently — understanding how the space could work, how it might connect to the house, and what’s worth prioritising to move the project forward with confidence.

What’s Included

1. On-site visit

  • A 1.5-hour visit to your garden to talk through your ideas, requirements and how you’d like to use the space

  • Time to assess the site, discuss opportunities and constraints, and explore early design thoughts together

2. Follow-up summary

After the visit, you’ll receive a follow-up email with clear, practical guidance, including:

  • Suggested suppliers for paving and materials

  • Ideas for garden lighting

  • Recommendations for furniture and accessories suited to your space and budget

  • Ideas for plant combinations appropriate for the garden and its conditions

  • A simple sketch to help visualise ideas

How much does a consultation cost?

£700 (including VAT)

The full fee is payable at the time of booking.

If, during or after the consultation, it becomes clear that a full garden design would be more suitable, we can discuss next steps and review costs, with the consultation fee incorporated into a full design package where appropriate.

If you’re feeling unsure where to start, or simply want professional guidance before committing to a larger project, a garden consultation can be a helpful first step. It offers clarity, reassurance and practical ideas tailored to your garden.

To enquire or book a consultation, please email or call us; we’ll be very happy to talk through your project and answer any questions.
