Devon Coastal Garden

A rotten deck and inaccessible rear garden have been transformed into a safe, usable garden nestled within the safety of old red Devon stone walls, providing a tranquil and private space. The greenhouse is now connected via a self-binding gravel path which wraps around the rear of the house, allowing wheelbarrow access to all corners, and the front deck has been replaced by a limestone terrace underplanted by soft miscanthus grasses and osmanthus balls, providing movement and texture.

New hedging and trees screen the parking area and absorb the height of the sloping garden with a riot of colour from spring to autumn.
