Contemporary Winchester garden

Contemporary town garden

Working alongside Anthony Munden Architect in Winchester, we designed the garden in keeping with the high spec glass extension which would reveal much more of the garden than previously. Beneath a row of tall beech trees the garden catches the sun at various points through the day. Strong structural and contemporary planting includes low euonymus hedging, pleached trees and yew cube topiary, with a cloud pruned Ilex crenata taking centrepiece outside the kitchen. Softer planting and native trees soften the boundaries and bring colour through the year.
